Obituary of Ben Monson

<b>Obituary</b> Ben Monson, 73, of Lexington, Kentucky and the husband of Norma Jean Payton Monson, died Monday, March 13, 2012. He was born October 8, 1938 in Lexington, Kentucky, to the late Nelson and Eithel Darnell Monson. Ben had worked for Kroger for over 44 years, was a member of Kingsway Assembly of God in Versailles, Kentucky, a member of the Masonic Lodge 954 and a Kentucky Colonel. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Pamela Ann Buehler and Sheila Kay Sprinkles, both of Lexington, Kentucky and Marsha Lynn Crouson, of North Carolina; one brother, William Nelson Monson, six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. <b>Funeral Information</b> Visitation will be 5-8 pm, Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Clark Legacy Center. Funeral service will be 1 pm, Friday, at Clark Legacy Center, officiated by Rev. Jeff Johnson and Rev. Joe Girdler. Burial will follow at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
