Obituary of Catherine Louise Perkins Lee

<b>Obituary</b> Catherine Louise Perkins Lee, 90, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2013 in Frankfort. She was born on November 23, 1922 to the late Virgil and Corrine Rogers Perkins. She was a native of Shelby County, KY but lived most of her life in Frankfort. Catherine was a homemaker and always loved to sell Avon to her many family, friends, and neighbors. She was also a member of Crestwood Baptist Church. Catherine married Claude Gentry Lee in 1942, and they celebrated 57 wonderful years of marriage together until his death in 1999. Her loving daughter, Judith Ann Lee Hockensmith, preceded her in death in 1994. Catherine is survived by her son, Frederick Allen "Freddie" Lee. She was known as a wonderful cook and MaMaw to her six grandchildren, Kenneth (Tammy) Hockensmith, Timothy (Margaret) Hockensmith, David Hockensmith, Cynthia Hockensmith, Michael (Tonya) Lee, and Stephen Lee. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, Johnathan, Cameron, Nicholas, Hoover, Paul, Kaitlyn, and Lindsey. <b>Funeral Information</b> Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, June 27th at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Road with Reverend Michael Hail officiating. Visitation will be held 11:00 AM until the time of the funeral on Thursday at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Casketbearers will be her grandchildren and Harold Lee.
