I remember meeting Heather on the dance floor at the Backstretch when Hi-5 was playing. We became instant friends. They were sweet, kind, fun people and they always looked out for me. I was blessed to know them and will miss them dearly.

Lew's and Heather's passing was a shock to us all and such a loss. Lew was the man at work to go to when a prob arose that we couldn't figure out and fix and he'd figure it out and fix it. He almost always had a smile on his face and laughed often. I saw them at a music festival once and Lew introduced Heather to me. We talked for a bit while Lew went to get a drink. She was such a genuine, sweet person and so easy to talk with even though we'd just met. There's a hole in the many lives that Heather and Lew touched. Prayers for their families and friends to be comforted during this sad time.

My heart is so heavy, you were my sister. My support through so much that life threw at me. You were my friend through nursing school and my rock through cancer. Heather and Lewis were family. I have to many memories to post. Sushi dates at Harry's. Text Mex at Chueys and just talks. Im sorry it has been so long since we last spoke, but I loved you so much, and Lewis! Ya'll were truly perfect together. Thank you for giving me the privilege to have known you, My heart hurts to know you left this earth so suddenly, but its full knowing you are holding hands in heaven with Lewis.

I can still see Lewis, sitting, enjoying watching Heather dancing with friends! I had only know them a couple of years but felt an instant connection. They always enjoyed themselves so much at live music events where I would, when possible, sit with them and catch up on the goings on. Heather was affectionately know as the “Dancing Queen”. R.I.P. Heather and Lewis!

Heather had the most encouraging, loving and compassionate soul. I’m so blessed to have been her stylist for the past 5-6 years. I always looked forward to seeing her and Mikala, and recently met and hung out with Lewis. I could tell instantly that they were soulmates. Couldn’t ask for better people. My heart and prayers go out to the families of both
