Dear Jerry, what a wonderful time we had at Heather and Mark's wedding held at Angie's farm. From the time you walked Heather to the Wedding ceremony 'to give her away' to the hot air lanterns at the end of the day our families really enjoyed each other. You always had a warm and ready smile because you were bigger than life. You will be missed. Prayers and thoughts go out to Judy, Damon, Angie, and Heather during this time of grief. I'm so very sorry for your loss. I had some of the best laughs of my life with Jerry and Buddy during those many Saturday golf games. I'll cherish those memories for the rest of my life. I’m so happy we managed to play one last time this past January in Florida. I'm sure the two of em are teeing up their first of many heavenly prestiges right about now. Enjoy your hot dog & snickers bar when you make the turn Ger-wee.

Our thoughts are with you Judith, Heather, Angie and Damon. We will miss seeing Gerry’s smiling face at OR, driving the golf cart at happy hour, cheering on the girls at four o’clock tennis sharing a drink and a meal. He was a very special person. Love, Lesley and Jack.

I did not have the good fortune to have played a round or shared an evening drink with Jerry, but got to know him and the family through their construction work. I've known and worked with them almost twenty years now and working our next few jobs will be different for sure. I always enjoyed talking with Jerry about a variety of things and even when we were having to haggle out some prices. The English family means a lot to me and have my sincerest sympathies. I know from experience that Jerry taught them all well about the trade, working hard, and respecting other people politely regardless of the circumstances. Lessons I wish more people embraced. I'll miss him. Very fondly, Jonathan Otis

Where do I begin? I’ve known Jerry since we were kids. I remember him and Buddy being fast friends throughout their lives. I remember him in high school having a date and picking all of us up for a brief ride. The 25 cents we each gave him paid for the gas for his date. I’ve been thinking of him a lot lately, and the picture that always comes to mind is of him with a big smile on his face! It seems the most important thing in his life was his family and that shows clearly when you see the wonderful family he produced. My heart truly goes out to each of you. May God bless and comfort you.

Judy I owe you much love and admiration. For years you and Jerry were Tara's family while she was away from home. You both and your family always welcomed us with open arms and I am so grateful for the friendship you all showed our girl and me. Jerry was a treasure and you all were so lucky to have him as husband and father. I know life feels a little lost right now and there so many unanswered questions..but as someone once told me the sun will shine tomorrow, it's hard to believe right now but life and our loved ones will be there for each of you. Know that I love you all and my heart is broken for you all
