I have been searching for the right words all week and simply can not find the correct ones to how I feel. I have worked for this great man for over half my life. He was such an influence and mentor to me I consider him a father/big brother. He has not only given me advice on life but you taught me a trade in the safe and vault industry that has made a living for me and my family.
Although there are MANY memories I will remember (like him letting me drive his Audi R8 ) ,giving me a Rolex for 20 years of service with his company, but the one that sticks out the most is Mark’s smile and generosity he showed me and gave to others is just one of many things I will remember him for. The love he showed for his wife and both girls is one that will help make me a better husband and father. As I fight back the tears today I will reflect on the travels we made together, tradeshows, classes, road trips, lake, casinos the list goes on but I will always cherish those moments. My heart and prayers go out to Stephanie the girls and your best friend. Fly on my friend, I love you, and I will never forget you. Today I will wear cargo shorts in your honor! Thank you for ALL you have done for me. #millerstrong #29black #cancersucks

He was always concerned about providing an enjoyable workplace for his employees and students. He wanted the best for everyone and did what he could to provide for their needs. He always had a smile on his face and a kind word to say. He became more than a customer, he was a friend. Cheryl Butala, Brett Construction Co.

Our families moved together from Rochester NY, to Nicholasville KY. Being 6 years older than me, as kids, Mark was the coolest kid, and always looked up to him. Later in life, I got to work with him at Lockmasters. While I was learning the industry, Mark was always there to help and lend some advise. When we were together we always had a great time. I have great respect for the Miller family and this truly saddens me to hear about his passing. I have nothing but fond memories as kids and adults with Mark. Condolences to the whole family.

Man, I have such a heavy heart thinking about this enormous loss for Stephanie and their girls. Just a few days after my wife buried her own father. It makes me realize how thankful I am to God for Mark and for each time we were able to spend with him. Like so many beloved folks in the lock industry, Mark was always about People, more than the Products. We will always remember Mark’s smile, his laugh, and his giving to others.

Mark was a great person and will be truly missed. He always had a kind word and a smile on his face. I'll never forget the time the committee was touring the new facility and he called me up to the front and stated, "Mark, this is your new GSA classroom. We built it for you!" This was typical Mark, a great sense of humor and he always managed to make everyone feel appreciated. We will never forget you Mark, rest in peace.

I have known Mark and the Miller family since 1973. Over the many years it has been a pleasure to see him grow up and become such an outstanding young man. His grandfather, Harry would have been so honored to see what a contribution he has made to the lock industry. I know his father, Clay was very proud of his son. Mark's smile was just not on his face, but his whole being. He had a way that made others feel that they were important to him. The bright light that was Mark may not be shinning here on earth, but will remain lit in the hearts of all those that loved him. Much to young and so loved. Condolences to Stephanie, his lovely daughters and family. Rest in peace Mark.

God know he was a terrible driver because he got distracted when driving everyone around. We rode car hoods in the snow and did wheelies in the snow and sleigh rode at Tommy Cobbs and rode the bus together. I remember all of the raccoons and deer that they rescued at the river. The raccoons would get in the cabinets while we talked on the phone. He was always there for me and I will never forget my friend. brain Lamb and Mark Miller took care of me when we went out. Absolutely a one of a kind. A great friend that was always looking out for everyone, so genuine and caring. I loved having meals with Mark, didn't happen often enough the last few years. But I remember the last ones; lunch with him and Madeline at ALOA and dinner with Mark and Stephanie, picture attached, which is how I'll always remember him. 'til we meet again friend. RIP

Mark was that rarest of things: a truly beloved man who made a difference. He made everyone in his presence feel welcome and valued. Mark was a man to be emulated, and will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Sincerest condolences to the Miller family and to the Lockmasters family.

What an amazing man Mark Miller was... He always treated me like I was his own. He would do anything for his family and friends. His smile was huge, genuine, and beautiful. I’ll always remember the advice he gave me on a family vacation. “Never settle for less because we all deserve more.” He was the first person to teach me to water ski, jet ski, and tubing was such an adventure with him driving. He would do so many circles that made Madeline and I fly off like little bugs. Then would make a big belly laugh when he picked us up. I miss that. Rest In Peace Daddy #2/Carlos/Captain of the houseboat. I’ll always love and think of you. Watch over us, we will all miss you so so much.

There was no better man than Mark. His sister was a very good friend of mine in school and I spent a lot of time at their house. We had such fun. Mark was the kindest person and always spoke to everyone. He never had a bad thing to say about anyone. I am so very sorry to hear this. Erika, Clay, Sandy, Mark's wife and daughters are in my thoughts. Jo Frances Cox

Spending time with Mark Miller was like eating an entire chocolate cake from Malones. I have so many great memories of time on the water. I remember him letting Chris drive the houseboat when he was 12 years old. It was such a generous thing to do and it still makes Chris smile when we talk about it. Rest in peace brother. Can't wait to see you again.

One of the most amazing people I had the pleasure of knowing and growing up around. Mark had the most contagious smile and laugh. He treated me like I was his own and was such an influential part of my life. I will always remember him driving me, Madeline, and Emily around on the boat and blasting music for hours. Please watch over us Mark we love you❤️
