Obituary of Scott Edward Hayes

Scott Edward Hayes, 52, left us to be with the Lord on March 5, 2024. He was a beloved husband, father, son and brother. Scott enjoyed fishing trips with his family out on his boat at Green River Lake, building inventions, tinkering in his garage and spending time in the yard with his wife. 

He proudly served the Woodford County community as an EMT and volunteer firefighter for 22 years. He recently became certified as an HVAC Journeyman and loved his new job at Whaley. He was so loved by friends and family and will be deeply missed. 

Scott is survived by his loving wife, Lana Hayes; mother, Judith Ann Hayes; daughters, Abigail and Danica Hayes; sister, Flora Hayes Ducatez (Oliver Ducatez) and his beloved dog, Dexter.

He is proceeded in death by his father, Paul Edward Hayes. 

A Graveside Service will be held on Tues, March 12, 2024, at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Frankfort with Russ hayes, Shane McCall, Dustin Hayes, Keith Booth, and Josh Mayfield serving as Pallbearers. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Steven Shepard, Oliver Ducatez, John McGhee, and Rami Kalla. A Visitation will be held from 12:00p until the time of the Graveside Service on Tuesday, at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd, Frankfort.
