Obituary of Albert Woodrum Jr.

Albert Woodrum Jr., 86, passed away on Monday March 4, 2024 in Louisville, KY.  Albert was born January 5, 1938, in Versailles, KY to the late Albert and Margaret Penn Woodrum.  

Albert is survived by his daughter, Kaye Nita Gallager of Midway, KY and son, Albert D. Woodrum III (Melissa) of Frankfort, KY; grandchildren, Caitlin Ropp, Elizabeth Woodrum, A. Dennis Woodrum IV, and Melina Gallager.

In addition to his parents, Albert is preceded in death by his wife, Melba Meeks Woodrum.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 12:00 pm at Clark Funeral Home, 241 Rose Hill, Versailles, KY.  Visitation will be held prior to services starting at 10:00 am until time of service.  Burial will be at Corinth Cemetery in Corinth, KY with Casketbearers;  A. Dennis Woodrum IV, Ed Ropp, Cody Harl, Curtis Adams, Kevin Gallager and Louie Hutcherson.
