Obituary of Molly Ann Brents Wheatley Sorrell

Molly Brents Wheatley Sorrell,85, passed away Thursday, February 29, 2024. She was born on February 19, 1939, in Lebanon, KY to the late Mary Frances Smith and Charles L. Brents.  

Mrs. Sorrell is survived by her daughters, Anne (Tommy) Caldwell, Rebecca (Trent) Clutts; son, Mike (Diane) Wheatley; sisters, Charlotte (Nick- deceased) Falvai, Nancy (Freddie) Higdon; brother, Ed (Carita) Brents; seven grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.  

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sorrell is preceded in death by her first husband and children’s father, Jack Wheatley; and her second husband, Leslie Sorrell; and infant sister. 

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at 1pm, at The Lexington Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lexington Humane Society or Bluegrass Care Navigators (Hospice).
