Obituary of Barbara Lee Miller
Barbara Lee Miller, 81, passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones. The daughter of the late Henry and Mattie Bunch Green, Barbara was born September 25, 1942, in Frankfort, Kentucky. A longtime former employee of Kroger, Barbara was a happy-go-lucky person who always had a smile on her face and was eager to share that happiness with others. Always up for an adventure, she was ready to go at a moment's notice. She loved UK, reading, working jigsaw puzzles, shopping, driving fast to the next good deal, watching her bird feeders, and tending to her flowers. Above all, Barbara loved her family, making each member feel special, as they were special to her.
Barbara is survived by her children, Cindy (Timmy) Murphy, Gwen Miller (Danny) Slucher, and Bobby L. (Lisa) Miller, all of Frankfort; a sister, Mary Jo Williams of Pennsylvania; her grandchildren, Kristy (Eddie) Davis, Brady (Megan) Murphy, Dustin (Latosha) Conway, Destiny (Brandon Cundiff) Miller, Jared Miller, and Steven Miller; her great-grandchildren, Makayla, Scarlett, Nate, Maddie, Gavin, Trey, Makiya, Isaiah, Adalynn, Abigail, Lilly, Elizabeth, and Ryder; her special friends, Lisa King , Jo Harp, Mary Jane Abbott and Pat Parker, as well as her loving dog, Dodge.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mattie Bunch Green; a sister, Shirley Sullivan; and her brother, Billy Timmons.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:00 pm, Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd, Frankfort, with Pastor Adrian McKinney officiating. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 11:00 am until the time of service on Saturday, at the funeral home.
