Obituary of Connie Gay Baumgartner

Mrs. Connie Gay (Adkins) Baumgartner, age 61 of Frankfort, Kentucky departed this life on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at the Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky and was born to the late Howard Gordon and Erna Wilder Adkins on March 19, 1963 in West Liberty, Kentucky.  Connie was retired from Toyota and loved to travel, riding motorcycles in her younger days and camping.  She was a loving and caring person and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Connie is survived by her husband: Tony Dale Baumgartner Sr., 1 son: Nathan B. Adkins of Frankfort, Kentucky, special cousins, her dog: Maggie and a host of relatives and friends who mourn her passing.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents.

Casketbearers will be Paul Hussey, Tyler Hussey, Addison Whitt, Ashton Whitt, Jamey Lee, Brandon Lee, Mikey Smedley and Ron Brumback.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 13, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel at Clark Legacy Center Frankfort with Bro. Rob Hutcherson officiating.  Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Frankfort.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 13, 2024 after 11:00 a.m. until time for services.

In lieu of flowers family request expressions of sympathy be made to the Franklin County Humane Society 100 Companion Place Frankfort, Kentucky 40601.
