Obituary of David Russell Rhineheimer

David Russell Rhineheimer, 43, husband of Robin Rhineheimer, passed away Sunday, May 5, 2024. He was born in Lexington, KY on April 4, 1981, to Cheryl (Darren) Volmer, and Brian (Debra) Rhineheimer. He had attended East Hickman Church and was self-employed with numerous contracting skills.  

David was a family man who loved watching shows with his kids, making their Halloween costumes and Christmas gifts. He also enjoyed playing guitar, singing karaoke, and was a very ‘tech savvy’ guy.  

In addition to his wife, parents, and stepparents, those left to cherish David’s memory includes his sons, Drake (Jerrica Sutton) Rhineheimer, Declan Rhineheimer; sisters, Alyssa (Tyler) Crumley, Emily Rhineheimer Barker; paternal grandmother, Pauline Hisel Rhineheimer; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and adopted family. 

David is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Sue Howe Gilvin and David L. Gilvin; and paternal grandfather, Russell Clay Rhineheimer.  

A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, May 10, 2024, from 6pm-8pm at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 8pm, officiated by his son, Drake.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a GoFundMe set up by family members.
