Obituary of Michael Garland Blanton

Michael Garland Blanton, 44, of Frankfort, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, April 9th, 2024 at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center. He was born November 23, 1979 at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, Ky. His early years were spent in West Liberty Ky, before his family moved to Frankfort in 1987. Michael was a graduate of New Hope Christian Academy in Frankfort. He was a former Cable Lineman for the Frankfort Plant Board.

He is survived by his parents Carol Ann Blanton and Kenneth Michael Blanton and brother Benjamin Tyler Blanton, all of Frankfort. Aunts Kathy Litteral (Joe) of West Liberty, Ky, Jeannie Porter of West Virginia, uncles Matt Blanton of West Liberty, Ky, Johnny Harrison (Valeria) of Paintsville, KY, Mark Harrison (Donette) of Pikeville, Ky and Tim Jeffress of West Virginia.

Michael was a member of the Word of Faith Community Church in Mount Sterling, Ky and a devoted Christian. He was known for his selfless charity and loving heart. He will be sorely missed by all including his special friends Mike McMillan, Kelly Young, Willie Warner, Rick Warner of Frankfort, Freddie Lewis of Georgetown.
