Obituary of Eddie Smith

Mr. Eddie Smith , age 82 of Frankfort, Ky was born on October 29, 1941 to the late Unie Edward Smith and Blondella (Brown) Smith and departed this life peacefully in the presence of his family on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Frankfort Regional Hospital after a hard fight with cancer. 

Eddie is survived by his loving wife of 60 years: Anna Dean (Aldridge) Smith, a son: Bobby Earl Smith (and Patricia) of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, a daugher: Sonya Renee Coomer of Frankfort, Kentucky, 8 siblings, 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.  Eddie also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends who all mourn his passing.  Eddie worked in maintence and his last job held was at Capital Bowl and was a avid bowler himself and was of the christian faith and loved his family and friends and will forever be missed.  Eddie served his country by serving in Vietnam and is a veteran of the United States Army.

Other than his parents Eddie was preceded in death by his twin daughters: Brenda Sue Smith & Linda Sue Smith, one son: Gerald Smith and 5 siblings.

Cremation was chosen for his final wishes.
