Obituary of Marian "Dede" Danet Buffin

Marian "Dede" Buffin, 61, widow of Danny Buffin, passed away peacefully Saturday, November 18, 2023, surrounded by her family in Versailles, KY. She was born in Louisville, KY on February 23, 1962, to the late Mary Louise Browning and Silas Newton Boren, Jr. Mrs. Buffin had worked as a manager for the Family Dollar for many years. She also took pride in being a mother and spent many years raising her boys and several foster children along the way. Mrs. Buffin was a loving mother, sister and friend.  

Those left to cherish her memory includes her sons, Daniel Buffin, Dusty (Ashley) Buffin; sister, Debra Perry; grandchildren, William Buffin, Peyton Buffin, Savannah Buffin, Elijah Crawford; and several nieces and nephews.  

In addition to her husband, Danny, and her parents, she is preceded in death by her two sisters, Rose Rita Bradford, and Stella Louise Spencer.  

A visitation will be held Monday, November 27, 2023 from 5-7pm at Clark Funeral Home, Versailles, KY. Funeral will be Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at 11am at the funeral home, Edward Nichols officiating, with graveside service immediately following at 12pm at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Frankfort, KY. Serving as casket bearers are Dylan Smith, Tommy Perry, Patrick Crowe, Darrell Crowe, Tyson Hill, and Charles Nichols.
