Obituary of William "Willie" Floyd Miller

William “Willie” Floyd Miller, 75, husband of Sharon Parido Miller, passed away Nov. 18, 2023. Born Jan. 26, 1948, in Frankfort, KY, Willie was the son of the late Kathryn Sturgeon Miller and Clarence L. Miller. Willie retired from state government after 34 years as a programmer. He was an U.S. Air Force veteran who was stationed in Spain for 4 years and was assigned as a Radio Operator Electrician. Willie was a family man who loved his grandchildren. Along with his wife Sharon, he is survived by his stepson, Josh Glover; daughter, Jessica (John) Fint; son, William (Ella) Miller; sister, Elizabeth Wilson; two brothers, Lee (Janette) Miller, David (Anna) Miller; and five grandchildren, Jaycee Glover, Mallory Fint, John Thomas IV, Linda Miller, and Ava Miller. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Bobby Wilson. A celebration of life will be 12:00 PM Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2023, at Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church. Visitation will be prior from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church, 480 Duckers Rd., Midway, KY 40347.
