Obituary of Mildred Kennon Bramel

Mildred Dean Kennon Bramel, 95, a loving mother and “Nana” died peacefully Thursday November 9, 2023. Mildred is survived by her daughter Teresa (Terri) Fields (David) of Lexington; son Otis Clifton (Cliff) Kennon Jr (Kristy) of Shelbyville; brother John Dean (Joyce) of Paris; Her cherished grandchildren Kelsey Fields, Travis Kennon, Brooke Kennon, and Kenna Fields Love (Devon); along with many other nieces and nephews. Mildred was born in Jessamine County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Homer and Mary Frances Davis Dean; She was preceded in death by husband Otis C Kennon and Harold Bramel.

Mildred was a huge UK basketball fan. She also enjoyed gardening. She was a faithful member of Gardenside Christian Church and was involved in the Women’s Circle and sang in the choir.

Visitation will be held at Clark Legacy Center Brannon Crossing, Nicholasville, KY Thursday, November 16 from 10:30-12:30 P.M. with a Funeral Service to follow. Dean Brewer will be officiating the service. Burial will be at Blue Grass Memorial Gardens.
