Obituary of Veronica Whitfield Bowman

Veronica Whitfield Bowman, 66, passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2023. The wife of Kelly G Bowman for 47 years, Veronica was born December 19, 1956, to the late Thomas Albert Whitfield and Johnie Favors Carter, in Florence, Alabama. A member of Versailles Church of Christ, Veronica was a Senior Account Rep for Anthem.  

In addition to her loving husband, Kelly Bowman of Versailles, Veroncia is survived by her son, Patrick (Kipp) Bowman of Lexington; sisters, Melanie Hanson of Alabama, Toni (Bill) Ray of Tennessee, and Amanda Perry of Alabama; her grandchildren, Madison Bowman, Barrett Bowman, and Harvest Walker; a great-grandson, Hudson Mitchell; her stepmother, Shirley Whitfield of Alabama; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.  

Veronica was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Albert Whitfield; her mother, Johnie Favors Carter; her son, Nathan Bowman; and her stepfather, Marvin Carter.  

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 12:00pm until 3:00pm, on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd, Frankfort.
