Obituary of Frank Eugene Campbell

Frank Eugene “Pa” Campbell, 87, husband of Frieda Campbell, passed away on October 23, 2023 in Lexington. Frank was born in Jackson, Kentucky on September 6, 1936 to the late James and Hila Campbell.  He proudly served in the United States Navy and went on to work as an insurance agent with American General for many years. Frank was also a member of Porter Memorial Baptist Church.  He had a strong faith in God and enjoyed reading his bible daily.  He also enjoyed visiting with grandchildren and great grandchildren, fishing, feeding the birds and squirrels, and gardening.  Frank was deeply loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. 

Frank is survived by his wife Frieda, their children, Steven Campbell (Tammy), Bryan Campbell (Lisa), and Tracy Campbell.  He is also survived by seven grandchildren (Casey, Jeffrey, Stephanie, Amy, Brett, Josh, Tanner) and eleven great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his son, Douglas Campbell.

A funeral service will be held for Frank Campbell on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at 12pm at Clark Legacy Center, Nicholasville, KY. Visitation will be held from 11am till time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens, Nicholasville, with full military honors.
