Obituary of William Spencer

William Spencer, 61, passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023. The husband of Rhonda Alcorn Spencer, Willam was born April 7, 1962, to the late Ezekiel Spencer and Betty Lyons Lane in Campton, Kentucky. He was a United States Army veteran who retired from Trane and was a member of the UAW Local 912. William loved his family and spending time with his girls, always wanting to make them happy. He enjoyed being around people, talking with them about being an Army veteran and the military in general. Fishing and working on his truck and small engines were his favorite pastimes. 

In addition to his loving wife of 23 years, Rhonda Alcorn Spencer, William leaves behind his daughters, Autumn (Jason Buchanan) Spencer of Frankfort, Sharia Spencer of Frankfort, and Emily Spencer of Frankfort; his son, William A. Spencer of Winchester; sisters, Virginia Turner of Winchester and Glenita Fennwick of Taylorsville; a brother, Tim Lyons of London; Sister-in Law Retha Alcorn of Frankfort, Brother-in laws Raymond Alcorn of Irvine, Robert Alcorn of Frankfort and his grandchildren, Shanae and Destiny Charlton.  

A Funeral Service will be held 11:30a, on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd, Frankfort, with Bro. David Smith officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00p until 7:00p on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at the funeral home.
