Obituary of Julia Ann Lee

Julia Ann Lee, 83, passed away in her home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, September 18, 2023. Julia was born on May 4, 1940, to the late Everette and Lillian Clendennen Rhodes in Mt. Carbon, West Virginia. Julia was a member of New Harvest Assembly of God Church. She worked for the Franklin County School System as a transportation bus aide for many years which she enjoyed. Julia traveled all over the world as a military wife and raised her four wonderful children, whom she cherished above all.  

She is survived by her sons, Philip Lee of Frankfort, Thomas Lee of Georgetown, two daughters; Debra Faris (Joe Morse) of Frankfort, Joy (Ron) Chappel of Morehead, one brother William “Pete” Rhodes of Fayetteville West Virginia, grandchildren, Aaron and Bradley Faris, Christopher and Patrick Chappel; Philip Lee II, Joshua David Pippins of Georgia, Dawn Lee, and great grandchildren Adelynn and Joshua Chappel.  

A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Monday, September 25, 2023, at Clark Legacy Center in Frankfort, a visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 11:00 am until 1pm, Burial will be private.
