Obituary of H. Thomas Crittenden

H. Thomas Crittenden, 77, passed away on Friday, September 15, 2023. The husband of Lucy Toles Crittenden, Thomas was born September 3, 1946, to the late Herman and Evelyn Morase Crittenden in Frankfort, Kentucky. A member of Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church, Thomas retired from the State of Kentucky after working many years as a Data Coordinator. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing basketball and golfing, but as he got older, found enjoyment in watching University of Kentucky Basketball and westerns on television, and listening to Willie Nelson.  

In addition to his loving wife of 46 years, Lucy Toles Crittenden, Thomas is survived by his sons, Chuck (Donnita) Crittenden of Frankfort and Chad (Brandi) Crittenden of Bardstown; his grandchildren, Victoria Crittenden, Elizabeth (Lucas) Raymond, Kaylee Crittenden, Eric Crittenden, Jackson Crittenden, and Clay Crittenden; and his great-grandchildren, Oakley, Lainey, Cohen, and one on the way.  

A Funeral Service will be held 1:00p, Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd, Frankfort, with Bro. David Smith and Rev. Todd Lester officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Frankfort. Eric Crittenden, Tony S. Elliott, Michael Aldridge, Nick Warmouth, Darryl Brophy, Eddie Smither, Mike Wingate, and Dee Bradshaw will serve as Pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Brenda Toles-Taulbee and Marsha Lynn Smither. Visitation will be held from 11:00a until the time of service on Wednesday, at the funeral home.
