Obituary of John Bradley McGill

John Bradley McGill, 79, passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2023. The husband of Margaret Ann Clark McGill, John was born March 29, 1944, to the late William Ross and Frances Owen McGill in Bakersfield, California. A former Supervisor with the Kentucky State Government, John attended Capital City Christian Church, and as a history major, enjoyed reading history books of all kinds. Watching and attending sporting events was one of his favorite pastimes, but most of all, as a wonderful husband, father, and brother, John loved his family.  

In addition to his loving wife of 52 years, Margaret Ann Clark McGill, John is survived by his children, Molly Ryan McGill of Frankfort and Michael Todd (Keith Simon) McGill of Louisville; and a brother, Howard (Frances) McGill of Long Beach, Mississippi.  

John was preceded in death by his parents, William Ross and Frances Owen McGill, a brother, William Ross McGill, Jr. 

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 5:30pm until 7:30pm, on Thursday, September 7, 2023, at Clark Legacy Center, 3000 Versailles Rd, Frankfort.
