Obituary of Elizabeth Seifer Patterson

Elizabeth Seifer Patterson, 73, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family in Lexington, KY on August 13, 2023. In her younger years, she ran Patterson Lighting Studio with her late husband John Paul. She lived her life strongly through her Episocopalian faith. Elizabeth was a donor, member, and strong advocate for PETA and the Humane Society. She was very passionate about animals and she especially loved her girl, Princess Grace! 

Elizabeth is survived by her sons, Seth (Yoshiko) Patterson and Stuart Lanham. Her sister Barbara (Larry) Sanders of Louisville, and a handful of neices and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her loving husband John Paul "JP" Patterson, her parents David and Ruth Seifer, and her sister Diana Seifer Lane. 

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations made out to the Lexington Humane Society or PETA.
