Obituary of Bobbie Jean Browning

Bobbie Jean (Dickerson) Browning, age 60, of Newark, passed away Friday, July 14, 2023, peacefully at her home under hospice care. She was born in Frankfort, KY on September 2, 1962, to the late Bobby and Shirley (Jamison) Dickerson. 

 Bobbie was raised in Frankfort, KY with her two brothers, Denny and Mike. She loved the Lord and her family with all her heart. She was a delicate flower full of beauty and she brought a sweet fragrance when she entered the room. She was an amazing wife, mother, aunt, sister, and friend. 

 Bobbie is survived by her husband of 12 years, Ed Browning; sons, Logan and Jared Mercer both of Louisville, KY; brother, Mike (Angie) Dickerson of Frankfort, KY; sister-in-law, Judy Dickerson of Frankfort, KY; and many nieces and nephews.  

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Justin Mercer and brother, Denny Dickerson. 

Visitation will be held from 6-8pm Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at Crossroads Worship Center, 858 Garfield Ave, Newark, Ohio 43055.  

Bobbie will be taken home for an additional visitation from 11am-1pm Thursday, July 20, 2023, at Clark Legacy Funeral Home, 3000 Versailles Rd, Frankfort, KY 40601 with a 1pm funeral service.  

A graveside service will take place immediately following the funeral service at Sunset Memorial Gardens 3250 Versailles Rd, Frankfort, KY 40601, Pastor Tim Wright officiating. 

    In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bobbie’s memory may be made to Hospice of Central Ohio, 2269 Cherry Valley Rd, Newark, Ohio 43055.
