Obituary of Buddy Wayne Penn

Buddy Wayne Penn, 77, of Frankfort, passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center. Buddy was a Frankfort native and loved playing softball and hanging out with his buddies. He was an avid sports fan. Buddy was a United States Navy Veteran, serving in the Vietnam War.

Buddy is survived by his wife, Judy Tracy Penn; son, Dale (Kay) Penn; daughter, Marni (Gayle) Cammack; grandsons, Blake Penn and Ryan Cammack; granddaughter, Kassidy Penn; two great granddaughters; two special pets, Mikey and Muffin; his brother, Pete (Debbie) Penn; and his sister, Joan Clark, California.

He was preceded in death by his father, Luther Penn and his mother, Juanita Andrews Wainscote.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd with Rev. Tim Jumpp officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Serving as casketbearers will be Dale Penn, Blake Penn, Gayle Cammack, Ryan Cammack, Lee Meadows, and Troy Brewer. Visitation will be held from 5:00pm until 8:00pm on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.
