Obituary of Charles Gale Portwood

Charles Gale Portwood, 73, husband of Belinda Portwood passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, in Lexington, KY. Charles was born on July 7, 1949, in Nicholasville, KY to the late Sidney and Elsie Portwood. Charles was a U.S. Army Veteran and served in Vietnam War. Other than his wife Belinda he is survived by his son, Patrick Lee Portwood, Lexington, KY; granddaughter, Hailey Rose Portwood; one brother, Donald (Michele) Portwood, Lexington, KY; one sister, Marie Portwood, Lexington, KY, many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by one sister, Josephine Wethington; three brothers, Richard, Robert and Jerry Portwood. A graveside service will be 11am Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
