Obituary of Charles Wm "Bill" Johnson

Charles Wm “Bill” Johnson, 83, passed away Monday, June 26, 2023. A native of Frankfort, Bill was born January 30, 1940, to the late Gilbert and Hazel Pauline Ballinger Johnson. He was a faithful employee of Sandy’s Steakhouse for 35 years, and spent many years caring for his father, after the passing of his mother in 1985. In his spare time, Bill loved to listen to music.  

Bill is survived by his sisters, Frances (Jim) Thomas of Frankfort, Lula Ethington of Frankfort, and Mary (Doug) Lafoe of Frankfort; a brother, James D. (Hope) Johnson of Floridia; and his special friend, Denise Dent of Frankfort.  

A Funeral Service will be held 1:00p, on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd, Frankfort, with Rev. Howard Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorials Gardens, Frankfort, with family serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 11:00a until the time of service at the funeral home on Wednesday.
