Obituary of Audrey Livingston McCrea

Audrey Livingston Kitson McCrea was born in Media, Pennsylvania on December 19, 1923 to Kenneth Kitson and Rachel Wetherill Janeway Kitson. She graduated from Germantown High School and attended the Philadelphia College of Art.  During World War II she worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad.  In 1945, she married William George Johnston McCrea of Germantown, Pennsylvania.  They had two children; Judith Anne McCrea Marshall and Gerald Wetherill McCrea (1952 - 2002).  Audrey painted throughout her life.  She did portraits in the 1960’s and 1970’s.  She then moved to Doylestown where she participated in the art community juried art shows.  Audrey and her husband traveled extensively around the world.  Audrey’s brother Kenneth Kitson (Betty) predeceased her.  She is survived by daughter, Judith Anne McCrea Marshall, five grandchildren Jennifer Marshall Smith (Eddie), Christopher Marshall, Ashley Marshall Gray (Jeremy), Amanda McCrea Lee, and Corey McCrea.  She is also survived by six great grandchildren, Taylor Gray, Lauren Gray, Will Smith, Emma Grace Lee, Tyson Lee and Callan McCrea.
