
Obituary of Betty Jean Eadens
Betty Jean Eadens, 85, wife of Robert Earl Eadens, Sr. Passed away on Friday, June 16, 2023, in Lexington, KY. She was born on July 27, 1937, to the late Charles Payton and Ruby Tanner Clark. Betty was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and worked as a housekeeper for many years. Other than her husband Robert she is survived by two daughters, Brenda Eadens and Cheryl Eadens both of Lexington, KY; one son, Robert Earl Eadens, Jr., Cynthiana, KY; two grandchildren, Joshua Darren Gray and Ashley Faythe Akins; four great-grandchildren, Makenzie Faye Gray, Ally Faythe Akins, Shelby May Akins and Henry Lee Akins; one brother, Chester Thomas Payton, Bethlehem, KY. She had several loving nieces and nephews,along with Two very special sister in laws,Glenda Sue Payton and Shelby Jean Scott and brother in law Charles Allen Eadens, Sr.
She is preceded in death by one daughter, Glenda Faye Gray; one son-in-law Ernest Franklin Gray, many siblings, Edward Harold Payton, Bobby Joe Payton, Donnie Clark, Otis Dale Clark, Jr, and Dennis Clark. A Visitation will be 10am-12pm Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at Clark Legacy Center – Brannon Crossing followed by a service at 12pm. Burial to follow in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers you can make a donation to the Alheimzer's Association in Lexington ,KY in honor of Betty.
