Obituary of Debra Sue Fox Holleran

Debra Sue Fox Holleran, 72, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2023. She was born on September 6, 1950, in Lexington, KY to the late Edna Merritt and Louis Fox. Ms. Holleran was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Lexington and had worked for Lexington Fayette Urban County Government Parks and Recreations as a concessions and vending coordinator. 

She loved her church family, gardening, traveling and making sure that family, friends, and those in need were always fed! She was a mom to many, loving sister, doting aunt, the best Mamaw, and true believer in Christ. 

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Heather (David) Henderson; sons, Christopher (Angie) Holleran, Benjamin Patrick Holleran; brothers, David (Sheila) Fox, Greg (Lisa) Fox; grandchildren, Cameron (Kelly) Henderson, Taylor (Darius Bailey) Holleran, Skyler Holleran, Peyton Henderson, Mariesa Henderson; and great grandchildren, Oliver, Christian, Aracelis, Shiloh. 

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 1,2023, at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing from 4-7PM, with pastor Bill Fort making a few remarks. Funeral service will be Friday, June 2, 2023, at Grace Baptist Church, Lexington, KY at 10AM, Pastor Steve Price will be officiating. There will be a brief visitation before the funeral service starting at 9am. A graveside service to follow at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens at 12PM. Serving as casket bearers include David Fox, Jr., Tim Fox, Jeremy Fox, Allen Fox, Cameron Henderson, Darius Bailey, Taylor Holleran, and Skylar Holleran. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace Baptist church to feed the hungry.
