Obituary of Jane R Book

Jane R Brook, 75, passed away on Friday, May 19, 2023. The wife of the late Thomas Book, Jane was born July 22, 1947, to the late Judith and Sarah Collins Rogers in Flemingsburg, Kentucky. A fantastic cook, known for her eggs and chicken n’ dumplings, Jane loved to feed her family and friends. When she was not in the kitchen, you could find her cozied up to a good book or sewing.  

Jane is survived by her daughter, Sara Bledsoe of Versailles; her grandchildren, Sarah Liese, Zandra Liese, and Laura Liese; great grandchildren, Layla Houp, Harry Howard, and David Houp; and her best friend, Betty.  

In addition to her loving husband, Thomas Book, and parents, Judith and Sarah Collins Rogers, Jane was preceded in death by her brother, Samuel Rogers.  

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 1:00p until 2:00p at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd, Frankfort, with a Memorial Service at 2:00p.
