Obituary of Henry Perry Folk III

Henry Perry Folk, III, 62, passed away on May 8, 2023, after a fall that resulted from a long illness. He was 62 years old. His family is deeply saddened by his sudden death.

Perry was born on October 23, 1960. He will forever be remembered by his wife, Cynthia Wickline; daughter, Alexa Folk of Lexington, KY; his father, Henry Perry “Skipper” Folk, Jr. and his mother, Sylvia B. Folk of Trinity, FL; his three sisters, Caroline (Gary) Koye of Palm Harbor, FL, Suzanna (Walt) Arnold of Nicholasville, KY,  and Jessica (Roy) Canada of Green Turtle Key, Bahamas; and his nieces and nephews, Brianna (David) Clement, Sam Arnold, and Cooper Canada. He will also be remembered by his close friends, Carter (Tasha) Suter and Lee Johnson; and will be missed greatly by his dog, Thomas, who was his constant companion.

Perry will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his infectious smile, and his love for all animals. He spent many years in the Thoroughbred horse industry and later began his own painting and tile business. He developed health problems that necessitated him to retire early but he continued to follow horse racing.

Private services will be held by the family.
