Obituary of Mau Nguyen

Mau Nguyen, 79, passed away on April 19, 2023. The husband of Nguyen Dinh Yen, Mau was born October 20, 1943, to the late Duong Nguyen and Ngyen Thi Hai in Quang Ngai, Vietnam. He arrived in America by boat, making a great life for himself working as an Assembly Operator for Topy America Inc, and raising his children. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.   

In addition to his wife, Nguyen Dinh Yen, Mau is survived by his daughters, Jennifer (James) Hawthorne of Lexington, Nguyen Thi Thong of Texas, Nguyen Thi Tha of Texas, and Michelle Cue Nguyen Hugnh of Lexington; sons, Jimmy Nguyen of Lexington and Phumg Van Nguyen of Texas; sisters, Nguyen Thi Ba of Vietnam and Nguyen Thi Nho of Denmark; and several grandchildren.  

A visitation for Mau will be held from 12p to 2p at Clark Legacy Center Funeral Home, 3000 Versailles Road, Frankfort, Kentucky. The burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Gardens at 2p.
