Obituary of Laura Elizabeth Carpenter

Laura Elizabeth Stratton Carpenter, 82, passed April 1 2023. She was born to the late Marion and Francis Soard Stratton in Versailles, Kentucky on July 15, 1940. Laura was strong willed and a hard worker. She loved her family, animals and a good home cooked meal.

She is survived by daughter, Tammy Hulette; son Christopher Carpenter; sister Mary Jane Bain; brothers Charles Stratton and Marion Lewis; grandchildren Celeste Marie Carpenter and Justin Chance Hulette; great grandchildren Rilynn Hulette, Piper Hulette and Parker Carpenter. 

She is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years Dennis Adams; son David Wayne Carpenter; sister Shelby Jean Tipton; brother John Stratton grandchildren Jeremiah Blake Carpenter and Steven Wayne Carpenter and great grandchild Oliver Kain Carpenter. 

Services will be Monday April 10,  2023 at 1:00pm at Clark Funeral Home Rose Hill, Versailles, Ky. Visitation will be 11:00am until time of service. Burial will follow at Rose Crest Cemetery Versailles, Kentucky.
