



Obituary of Leslie Trent Auxier
Leslie Trent Auxier "T", 66, husband of Rachel Sizemore Auxier passed away peacefully on Fri. March 24, 2023 in Louisville, KY, surrounded by family. T was born in Valdosta, GA on May 8, 1956 to Ramona K. Auxier and the late Michael T. Auxier. T had many passions and lived a life full of adventure. He was a school teacher for many years and in addition to teaching students, he drove the bus and kept score at ball games. T loved folk dancing and met Rachel at Berea College where they were members of the Berea College Country Dancers. T taught at Cane Run Elementary, Frankfort High School, and Franklin County High School, taking special pride in the Log Cabin Country Dancers. He hosted dance events at Berea College, Lake Cumberland and Camp Ernst. He owned his own business, T's Grab and Go providing concessions and meeting people. T was also a volleyball referee through the Kentucky High School Athletic Association. His most recent years were spent with Vera and Brody, his grandchildren.
T was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Lilyana Marie Auxier. He is survived by one son, Bryan (Rachel) Auxier, Walton, KY; one granddaughter, Veronica Marie Auxier; one grandson, Broderick Michael Auxier both of Walton, KY; two sisters, Anita Lou (Robert) Coleman, Prestonsburg, KY and Jeannie (Bill) Tidwell, Ephraim, UT.
A visitation will be from 11:30am – 1:30pm Thursday. March 30, 2023 at Clark Legacy Center – Frankfort, KY followed by a graveside service at 2pm at Sunset Memorial Gardens. In remembrance of T, the family asks that you wear bright colors on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested for the American Diabetes Association. clarklegacycenter.com
