Obituary of John Wayne Wooldridge

John Wayne Wooldridge, 76, passed away on March 6, 2023 in Frankfort. John was born in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky on December 21, 1946 to the late Harvey Jay Wooldridge and Mary Alice Hellard Wooldridge. He was a master carpenter for many years and was a member of the Lawrenceburg Pentacostal Church. 

He is survived by his partner, Mary Dunn; two sons, John Wayne (Tonya) Wooldridge Jr. and Johnathon Kyle (Rachel) Wooldridge; one brother, Gilbert Rudolph (Lillian) Wooldridge; two step-sons, Author Dunn and Stephen Raisor; nine grandchildren, Dakota Wayne Wooldridge, Ryan Joseph Wayne Wooldridge, Matthew Allen Adam Wooldridge, Clayton Kyle Wooldridge, Emily Grace Wooldridge, Rene Elizabeth Dunn, Kaya Raisor, Kelly Raisor, and Nicholas Raisor; and seven great grandchildren, Eliya Wooldridge, Levi Wooldridge, Allysa Wooldridge, Raylyn Wooldridge, Faith Wooldridge, Amelia Dunn, and Mayla Dunn. 

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his sister, Edith Mae Wooldridge Durham; and his brother, William Jay Wooldridge. 

A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. with Gilbert Wooldridge officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 11:00am until 1:00pm on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. 

Serving as casket bearers are John Wayne Wooldridge Jr., Johnathon Wooldridge, Arthur Lee Dunn, Stephen Raisor, Lowell Mitchell, Dwayne Masters, and Ryan Wooldridge. Honorary casket bearers include Glen Wooldridge Jr., Bailey Wooldridge, William Wooldridge, William Wooldridge, Jason Craig, Michael Masters, and Matthew Wooldridge.
