Obituary of Jackson Brafford Crook

Jackson Brafford Crook, 19, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2023. He was born on April 26, 2003 to Jeff and Becky Crook in Georgetown, Kentucky. Jackson attended of Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church. Jackson had immense love for his family, friends and life in general. His passion was playing any kind of ball, poker with his friends and the beach. He had a love for children from and early age that drew him to them whenever he had a chance.

In addition to his parents. Jackson is survived by his sisters, Gracie Crook and Reece Crook, of whom he was fiercely protective and loving, both of Midway; maternal grandmother, Faye “Me-Me” Bishop, Midway; paternal grandparents, Bill Papaw and Sharon Grandma Crook, Frankfort. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Neil Bishop.  

Funeral Service will be 6:00 PM Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church with Rev. Todd Lester officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until the start of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lexington Hearing and Speech Center.
