Obituary of Nellie Katherine Kendrick

Nellie Katherine Kendrick, 86, widow of Paul Kendrick, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2023. She was born in Standford, Kentucky on January 13, 1937 to the late Lee and Frona Hoskins Berry. Mrs. Kendrick worked in Security for Murray Guard. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, and she was always willing to help anyone with anything.  

She is survived by her children, Mike Kendrick, Versailles, Debbie (Jerry) McGinnis, Harrodsburg, and John (Teresa) Kendrick, Versailles; grandchildren, Mike (Jackie) Lear, Keith Lear, John (Lisa) Kendrick, Jr., Michelle (David) Collier, Nancy (Derrick) Loman, Stacie Griffin, Jerry McGinnis, Jr., Livia (Seth) McGinnis, Julia (Jason) Mullins, Sara (John) Abrams; great grandchildren, Jasmine Lear, Kaden Lear, Karson Lear, Tate Lear, Piper Lear, Parker Harris, Andy Lear, Daniel Lear, Brandon Lear, Hayden Lear, Emma Moore, Jackson Moore, Mackenzie Abney, Logan Sanders, Kaitlyn Sanders, Madison Loman, Iliza Griffin, Alexis Griffin, and CJ Griffin, Jase Mullins, Hannah and Wyatt Abrams; and great great grandchildren, Grayson Vires, Emmerson Vires, Camden Coubert, Nevaeh Lear, and Kori Cummins. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Chris Kendrick, and grandson, Smitty Crews.

Funeral Service will be 6:00 PM Thursday, February 9, 2023 at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill. Officiating the service will be Rev. Don Berry. Serving as casketbearers will be Andy Lear, Daniel Lear, Brandon Lear, Parker Harris, Karson Lear, Tate Lear and Camden Coubert. The visitation will be on Thursday from 4:00PM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
