Obituary of Daniel Lee Leininger

Lexington - Daniel L. Leininger, 86, husband of Barbara Riggs Leininger, passed away on January 27, 2023, in Lexington.  Daniel was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin on August 7, 1936, to the late Rueben Daniel and Antoinette Jermac Leininger. He was the former owner of Lexington Service Company and a veteran of the United States Army. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Antoinette Lee, Rebecca (David) Huff, Michelle (Randy) Kirkland, brother, Donald (Nancy) Leininger, Roger Leininger, 13 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren.  

He was preceded in death by his son James Bailey and brother, Robert Leininger. 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday February 1, 2023, from 10am until 12pm at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing. Funeral services will immediately follow at 12pm. Burial will follow at Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville.
