Fannie Mae Roberts LeMay, known as Peggy to family and friends, went home to be with the Lord on January 25, 2023.

A native of Shelby County, Kentucky, she was the last remaining of 18 brothers and sisters. Born to the late Willie B. Roberts and Julie Tingle Roberts.

Always trying to brighten someone’s day. She was known to hand out Hershey bars to everyone she came in contact with.

She is survived by her son, Richard LeMay and his wife Katrina. She is also survived by grandchildren, Tylor Crawley (Matt), Amanda LeMay, Jessica Woolums, Jacob Woolums, Jordan Woolums, Benjamin LeMay, Adam LeMay, John LeMay (Amy), and her schnauzer, Barney.

She was proceeded in death by her husband of 50 years, Orville C. LeMay and her son, Jason Ray Woolums.

Peggy passed peacefully and was ready to go. Her final words were “don’t cry, I’m going home.” She left with a smile. We love you, Mom.
