Obituary of Connie Louise Kendall Hawkins

Connie Louise Kendall Hawkins, 73, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2023. A native of Frankfort, she was born on August 25, 1949 to the late Leonard and Alma Louise Williams Kendall. Connie retired from the State as a Revenue Officer, during her time with the state, she also worked for Lowes for 8 years as the head cashier. She enjoyed working with her flower and vegetable gardens; crocheting and knitting. Connie loved cooking for everyone, she was all about home and family. She enjoyed doing things for others and being a mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her companion of many years, John “Rick” Downey Jr.; her daughters, Bethany (Brandon) Rose, Frankfort, and Tiffany West, Frankfort; her sister, Vickie (Delbert III) Cox, Versailles; her grandchildren, Jacob, Kelsey, Morgan, Skyler, and Haylee; and her great grandchild, Aurora.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, January 13, 2023 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd with Pastor Rusty Fitzpatrick officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Serving as casketbearers will be Levi Bettes, Brandon Rose, Jacob West, Richard Cox, Brayden Cox, and Adam Sholar. Visitation will be held from 11:00am until 1:00pm on Friday, January 13, 2023 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the ASPCA.
