Obituary of Ann Newman Adams

Ann Newnam Adams, 82, passed away on December 21, 2022 in Lexington.  Mrs. Adams was born in Scott County, Kentucky on August 21, 1940 to the late Earl and Opthelma (Sis) Newnam.  She was a Independent Insurance Agent, co-owner of Orthmeyer-Adams Agency and a member of First Baptist Church, Lawrenceburg. Ann enjoyed taking pictures, spending time with her family and friends and had a generous heart.

Beloved wife of 64 years to Gilbert Adams. Cherished mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Ann will be lovingly remembered by her family, son Jim Gilbert (Amy) Adams, Versailles, sister Sue Boyer, Florida, grandchildren James Austin Adams, Tyler Welch(Brittany) Adams, and great grandchildren Makinley Jade Adams and Aiden Adams.

Services for Mrs. Adams will be held on December 29, 2022 at Clark Funeral Home -  241 Rose Hill, Versailles at 1:00pm. Visitation will be from 11:00am till the time of service.  Burial will follow at Rose Crest Cemetery in Versailles.Officiating the service will be Paul Barrick. Pallbearers will be Austin Adams, Tyler Adams, Cameron Carpenter, Bobby Wilson, Keith Currens, Tom Swartz and Nathan Cooper. Honorary Pallbearers will be Deacons of First Baptist Church of Lawrenceburg.

Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Mrs. Adams to First Baptist Church of Lawrenceburg.
