Obituary of Robert Flinchum

Robert Flinchum, 85, husband of Andrea Flinchum, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2022. He was born in Lee County, Kentucky on October 1, 1937 to the late Emma Mays. Robert ran a news agency, was a truck driver, and a Veteran of the US Army. He loved trees, cars, and driving a truck.

In addition to his wife of 42 years, he was survived by his children, Sandra Flinchum Martin (Robert), Wi, Phillip Flinchum (Cindy), WI, Heather Flinchum, Versailles, and Jennifer Flinchum, Lexington; his grandchildren, Shaina Flinchum, WI, Sophie Braatz (Chris), CO, Jack Flinchum, WI, Phillip Flinchum, IL, and Mark Flinchum, WI; his sister, Viola Sumler (Art), AZ and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother, William Flinchum.

Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 3:00pm until 6:00pm on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Arbor Day Foundation.
