Obituary of Jack Bentley Coleman

Jack Bentley Coleman, 71, husband of Kimberly Boone, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2022. He was born in Amarillo, Texas on June 8, 1951 to the late Jackie Neil and Betty Laverne Walthall Coleman. Jack was a Veteran of the US Marine Corp and was a canine and military working dog program manager stationed at Lackland Air Force Base. He was a member of Grapevine Christian Church; he graduated from Hereford High School Class of 1970; and Wayland Baptist University Class of 2002.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Amanda Gilmore, TX; his son, Coby (Lauren) Coleman, TX; his sisters, Lysa (Doug Rice) Bean, TX, and Jeanna M’Lee Waltrip, TX; his grandchildren, Orrin Coleman, and Kalli Gilmore; as well as his nieces and nephews, Alan Waltrip, Michael O’Shawn Bean, and Jaquelyn Allen.

Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 12:00pm until 4:00pm on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
