Obituary of Ronald Allen Garrison

Ronald Allen Garrison, 87, husband of Ruby Bryant Garrison, passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2022. He was born in Lexington on July 2, 1935 to the late Elbert and Lorena Barnett Garrison. Ronald was a salesmans with Lowes and a member of South Elkhorn Baptist Church for 52 years. He coached little league for 6 years, was an avid UK Wildcat Fan, and loved going fishing.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Rhonda Sue (Duke) Fisher, Lexington; his son, James Allen (Deborah) Garrison, Frankfort; his half-sister, Jeanie (Granville) Carpenter, Lexington; his grandchildren, Crystal (Seth) Darnell, and Samantha (Kyle) Bibb; and his great grandchildren, Colten Lee, Sawyer James, Lilah Madelyn, Jeffrey Kyle, Charlie Grace, and Savannah Jean.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, JoAnn Caudle; and by his great grandchild, Piper Grace Bibb.

Graveside Service will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Pastor Todd Lester officiating. Serving as casketbearers will be Seth Darnell, Kyle Bibb, Mike Foley, Zachary Smith, Noah Webster, and James Chapman. Visitation will be held from 12:00pm until 2:00pm on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd.
