Obituary of William "Bill" Greene
William “Bill” Greene, 86, passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2022. He was born in Zanesville, OH to the late William and Mary Frances Greene.
He was self- employed and President of Dayton Electric Service Co. in Dayton/Cincinnati, Ohio and Brown Machinery, Inc. in Lexington, KY. Bill was a graduate of West High School in Columbus, OH and one year at Ohio State University. He was active in school plays and an avid tap dancer, he was a Golden Gloves Boxer and jumped for the 101st Airborne Division at Ft. Campbell, KY. In Ohio, he coached little league football and won the championship. While living in Florida, he was active and President of the Panama City Lyons Club.
He will be terribly, terribly missed, we are heartbroken.
He is survived by his wife Barbara, children Terri McCormick, Todd Greene and Tina Greene, 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and his lifetime best friend Robin Sharp.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Colleen Emery.
No services are planned at this time. Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd is in charge of arrangements.
