Obituary of Paul Edward Hatton

Paul Hatton, 74, husband of Carolyn Hatton, passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2022. He was born in Bourbon County, Kentucky on July 7, 1948 to the late James and Annette Biddle Hatton. Paul retired from Lexmark and was a Veteran of the US Marines having served in Vietnam. Paul also owned Hatton Photography, worked for Keeneland, and presently was driving cars for various dealerships. He was a member of Southland Christian Church and the Searchers Sunday School class.  

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Troy Whitaker, Versailles, and Kevin (Dusty) Whitaker, Frankfort; his grandchildren, Cortnei Scruggs, Danielle Whitaker, Zack Whitaker, Jackson Whitaker, and Meadow Whitaker; as well as his two great grandsons, Clay Scruggs and Brayden Whitaker.  

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Mike Hatton.  

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00pm on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at Southland Christian Church, Nicholasville with Allen Waugh officiating. Burial services will be Private and of Military Honors. Serving as casketbearers will be Troy Whitaker, Kevin Whitaker, Jackson Whitaker, Zack Whitaker, Dave Biddle, and John Shouse. Visitation will be held from 10:00am until the time of service on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at Southland Christian Church, Nicholasville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Searchers Sunday Class Mission Project c/o Charlene Jones @ 516 Wellington Way Lexington, KY 40503 or Hospice Care Navigators. Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill is in charge of arrangements.
