Obituary of Carolyn Louise Tewell

Carolyn Louise Tewell, 72,  died on Friday, September 23, 2022  in Lexington, KY.  She was born in Paris, KY on December 29, 1949 to the late Billy and Shirley Smith.  She was a free spirit and loved her family and her friends.  She is survived by one son, Trae (Kristen) Tewell; two daughters, Sherri (Kevin) Kayat and Michelle (Jeff) Slaughter; grandchildren, Gage Tewell, Isaiah Tewell, Alaina Tewell, Jacob McDaniel, Tanner McDaniel, Evan Slaughter, Chloe Stone and Kaden Stone; two great-grandchildren, Mayson McDaniel and Noah McDaniel; three sisters, Kathy Walker, Julie Hale and Angie Dearmond; one brother, John Smith.  She was preceded in death by one sister, Linda Lewis.  A gathering of family and friends will be from 11am-1pm on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Clark Legacy Center-Brannon Crossing followed by a celebration of life service at 1pm.
