Obituary of Betty Jean Henderson

Betty Jean Henderson, 90, widow of Jay L. Henderson, passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022, in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Mrs. Henderson was born in Georgetown, Kentucky on April 22, 1932, to the late John and Corinne Clark McDonald.  She was a Registered Nurse and a member of North Fork Baptist Church.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Nancy (Tim) Maloney and John (Kay) Juett, both of Bowling Green; her sister, Nancy (Tim) Parcus, Georgetown; her grandchildren, Brian Jay Ward, Janelle Ward, and Katie Clark; and her great grandchildren, Addison Ward, Ava Ward, Isla Ward, and Noah Teel. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Cathy Henderson and her brothers, Pete McDonald, William McDonald, and Richard McDonald.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be on Saturday, October 1, 2022, from 11:00 am until 1:00 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Franklin County Humane Society or Lifehouse Animal Shelter
