Obituary of Gayle Farrell Sutton

Gayle Farrell Sutton, 85, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2022. He was born in Henry County, Kentucky to the late Orcie and Martha Gilbert Sutton on March 21, 1937. Mr. Sutton was a Veteran of the United States Army and retired from IBM. He was an avid bowler, coached youth sports for many years, and Dodgers Fan. Mr. Sutton took pride in keeping his Chevy’s in pristine condition. He will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Steve (Stacie) Sutton, Frankfort, Duffy (Anita) Sutton, Somerset, Jeff (Kim) Sutton, Frankfort and Mike Sutton, Frankfort; grandchildren, Ryan Sutton, Cody (Jessica) Sutton, Logan (Jenna) Sutton, Hunter Sutton, Reagan Sutton, Aaron (Ding) Sutton, Brooke Sutton, Chase Sutton, Peyton Sutton, Sabrina Sutton, Skyler Sutton and Bailey (Seirra) Braden; and his great granddaughter, Fern Sutton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Larry “Bo” Sutton and Terry Sutton.  

A Military Graveside Service will be at 1:30PM on Friday, September 30, 2022 at Camp Nelson National Cemetery. A Gathering of Family and Friends will follow from 3:00 – 5:00 PM at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Road. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your local VFW.
